Sohar common cooling water system

The Omani government were developing the industrial park at Sohar on the Batinah coast in Oman. As a part of this development, a large common cooling water system was constructed on the shore south of Sohar port.

Scope of work: performed a shoreline impact assessment in relation to the planned construction of intake breakwaters for the common cooling water system. Site visit and desk top assessment based on available data and information gathered during the site visit.

Project executed while Jesper Damgaard was employed by HR Wallingford.
