The Fisheries and Agricultural Authority in Kuwait wished to construct a new fishing harbour in Salmiyah in Kuwait City. The harbour would accommodate fishing vessels of various sizes, have a fuelling station, an inspection area and a slipway. The harbour basin should be protected by a breakwater.
The scope of work included harbour layout planning, concept and preliminary design of the marine works including landing berths, fingers, gangways, fuel station, inspection platform and breakwater structures.
