The Equis Funds Group wished to develop a 20 MMTA coal terminal, a coal fired power plant and associated infrastructure in East Kalimantan. PT. Thiess Contractors Indonesia were bidding for the EPC contract.

The scope of work included tender design of the jetty sub-structure and super-structure, including conveyor belts, and landside facilities including all materials handling. The design components were:

• Jetty for the offshore radial ship loader
• Mooring and breasting dolphin
• 3km trestle
• Barge loading jetty
