Kuwait Waterfront V

A high-end residential and leisure development was planned for the corniche in Kuwait City. The development would be in an artificial pocket bay with a beach and semi-circular architectural edge treatments. The development contains shops, restaurants, cinemas, residential units and is a highly popular destination in Kuwait.

The scope of work comprised numerical modelling of the recreational beach optimisation and sediment loss estimation. The project involved co-ordination with, and use of, the physical modelling study, which was run in parallel.

Project executed while Jesper Damgaard was employed by HR Wallingford.
