Protection of our shorelines and coastal areas will be become even more important over the coming years due to sea level rise and increased storminess. CoMarEng has built up an in-depth knowledge of the governing physical processes, both through participation in world-class research projects and in a number of practical coastal engineering projects.

The core expertise spans from the early project phases through design to implementation and monitoring. During the early stages of the project I help defining the challenge and how to address it through a combination of surveys, numerical and/or physical modelling, and common sense. At the various design stages I perform peer reviews, act as client advisor or coastal process expert.
